An industrial engineer, Prof. Dr. Gök completed his master’s degree focusing on ERP/SAP systems. He conducted his doctoral research on productivity analyses at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in the United States. After serving as a faculty member at Marmara University's Industrial Engineering Department for two years, he currently works as a faculty member at Gebze Technical University. From 2016 to 2018, Prof. Dr. Gök was the Vice President of TÜBİTAK, responsible for entrepreneurship and private sector support, international collaborations, and the Technology Transfer Office. From 2023 to 2024, he was the Deputy General Manager responsible for the Entrepreneurship Center, Technology Transfer, and all R&D processes at Teknopark Istanbul, Turkey’s largest technopark. Since 2019, Prof. Dr. Gök has held the title of official lobbyist for the European Union Parliament and has provided feasibility, establishment, and management consultancy services to many technoparks, organized industrial zones, and free zones in Turkey. He continues his work as a founding partner of I Global Education and Consultancy and a Gebze Technical University Technology Transfer Office board member.
After graduating from the Department of Economics at Dumlupınar University, Dr. Ciğerim completed his master's and doctoral degrees in business administration at Gebze Technical University. He conducted his doctoral research at Tomas Bata University in the Czech Republic and his postdoctoral research at Çankaya University. Since 2002, Dr. Ciğerim has been a faculty member at Gebze Technical University, where he has also served as the manager of the Psychotechnics Laboratory and the Continuous Education Center. He is a founding partner and the general manager of I Global Education and Consultancy. Dr. Ciğerim has consulted various technoparks, including Informatics Valley, Kocaeli University Technopark, Yalova Technopark, Düzce Teknopark, and GOSB Teknopark. He is a founding member of the International Strategic Management and Managers Association, founding president of the International Association for Research in Social Sciences, and a member of the Beşiktaş JK General Assembly.
